• <br />Attachment t <br />wastes, furniture and other solid wastes will be removed from the sites and disposed of at <br />permitted facilities. Upon completion of the remediation, the sites will be graded to provide <br />drainage and drainage inlets will be cleaned to permit off-site drainage. A combination of berms <br />and ditches will be constructed along West 6th Street and Straugh Road, as allowed, to reduce <br />access for further illegal dumping. <br />Estimated Cost of Remediation: Cost of removal of waste tires from the sites is estimated to <br />be $200,000, which will be funded from the California Tire Recycling Management Fund. <br />Remediation of solid wastes at the sites is to be funded under the Solid Waste Disposal and <br />Codisposal Site Cleanup Program is estimated to cost $350,000. <br />Cost Recovery: Cost recovery should be pursued against the property owners. <br />CEQA: CEQA requirements will be met through a Notice of Exemption filed by Board staff. <br />Staff Comments/Recommendations: Staff recommends funding for remediation of these sites <br />under the Solid Waste Disposal and Codisposal Site Cleanup Program, contingent on the County <br />of Sacramento providing site access to all properties and removing hazardous materials from the <br />sites. <br />Staff recommends these sites for remediation under the Waste Tire Stabilization and Abatement <br />Program. 0 <br />IE <br />W <br />
