13 HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> The Operator shall ensure that all provisions of this Operations <br /> Plan are carried out in a safe manner according to appropriate <br /> health and safety regulations. This shall include adherence to all <br /> applicable provisions of General Industry Safety Orders under CCR <br /> Title 8, Subchapter 7. <br /> 13.1 Safety training <br /> The Operator shall be responsible for training of employees and <br /> Operators regarding safety practices for carrying out this <br /> Operations Plan. This shall include having an Accident, Injury and <br /> Illness Prevention Program according to CCR Title 8, subchapter 7, <br /> Section 3203 . The written program shall be submitted to the CDPW <br /> for approval. Site Operators and new employees will receive initial <br /> job-specific safety training. Ongoing safety training for site <br /> Operators shall include bi-weekly tailgate safety meetings at which <br /> written minutes are taken. The foreman responsible for the meeting <br /> shall submit a copy of the meetings to the CDPW within seven days <br /> after the meeting. Additionally, health and safety issues <br /> requiring prompt response shall be brought to the immediate <br /> attention of the CDPW followed by a written notification. <br /> 13.2 Survey training <br /> The Operator is required to perform land surveys to establish and <br /> verify alignment and grade control according to CDPW design plans. <br /> The Operator shall provide appropriate training to its personnel to <br /> accurately perform surveys and documentation as indicated in <br /> Sections 3 . 5 and 5. 3 . <br /> 13.3 Operations Training <br /> The Operator's landfill foreman shall have successfully completed <br /> 33 <br />
