B. Topographic Maps: Existing topographic information shown on Construction <br /> Drawings is from a 2004 aerial survey. The existing ground surface has been <br /> modified in some locations subsequent to the date of the aerial survey. <br /> C. Where measurement of quantities depends on elevation of existing ground, <br /> elevations obtained during construction, including preconstruction surveys, will <br /> be compared with those shown on Construction Drawings. If variations between <br /> preconstruction surveys and the 2004 topographic mapping are 1-foot or less, the <br /> 2004 topographic information will be used for determining quantities. <br /> D. Measurement for payment for furnishing and installing unit price items shall be <br /> made by the unit listed on the Bid Form. Quantity shall be calculated on the basis <br /> of dimensions shown on the Construction Drawings. Dimensions listed on the <br /> Construction Drawings, as a minimum requirement, represent the minimum <br /> required for payment. No allowance will be made for items placed outside or in <br /> excess of said dimensions, including material placed or removed for Work <br /> performed due to survey accuracy and tolerances, equipment accuracy and/or <br /> necessary over building, unless otherwise approved in writing by the OWNER. <br /> Where volumes for payment are calculated by Drawing dimensions or surveys of <br /> actual area covered multiplied by thickness, the thickness used in the calculation <br /> shall be the minimum thickness shown on the Construction Drawings. <br /> 1.6 PAYMENT <br /> A. Ten percent of the Contract Price will be withheld until final completion of the <br /> Work. <br /> B. Payment for the items specified on the Bid Form shall be by their unit prices <br /> quoted. <br /> C. Payment for unit price items covers all Work necessary to furnish and install the <br /> items and shall include full compensation for providing all labor, materials, <br /> equipment, tools, accessories, submittals, and incidentals, and for performing all <br /> Work specified including, but not limited to, installing, seaming testing, repairing, <br /> protection, and all QA/QC documentation required to complete the Work in <br /> accordance with these Specifications and Construction Drawings and as directed <br /> by the QA/QC CONSULTANT, DESIGN ENGINEER, or OWNER. <br /> D. Separate payment will not be made for items not listed on the Bid Fonn but are <br /> necessary to complete the Work. Such items will be considered incidental to the <br /> Bid Items listed on the Bid Form. <br /> 1.7 NONPAYMENT FOR REJECTED OR UNUSED PRODUCTS <br /> A. Payment will not be made for the following: <br /> 1. Loading, hauling, disposing or replacement of rejected, contaminated or <br /> damaged material or material that does not meet product Specifications listed <br /> in the Contract Documents. <br /> 2. Quantities of material wasted or disposed of in manner not called for under <br /> Contract Documents. <br /> 3.
