PART 2 PRODUCTS (Not Used) PART 3 EXECUTION (Not Used) PART 4 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT 4.1 INCIDENTAL AND RELATED ITEMS OF WORK A. General: 1. Separate measurement or payment shall not be made for Work required under the following sections. All costs in connection therewith shall be considered incidental to the related items of Work to which they pertain. a. Section 01100, SUMMARY b. Section 01310, HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN C. Section 01323, PROGRESS SCHEDULES d. Section 01330, SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES e. Section 01400, QUALITY REQUIREMENTS f. Section 01410, SURVEYS g. Section 01500, TEMPORARY FACILITIES AND CONTROLS h. Section 01700, CONTRACT CLOSEOUT 2. No separate measurement and payment shall be made for Work required to measure and calculate quantities or for preparation of payment applications. All costs in connection therewith shall be considered incidental to the related items of Work to which they pertain. 4.2 MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION A. Measurement: 1. Mobilization: Measurement for payment for the Work required in Section 01710, MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION, shall be by the lump sum basis. 2. Demobilization: Separate measurement shall not be made for demobilization. B. Payment: 1. Mobilization: Payment for mobilization shall be by the lump sum price quoted therefore in the Bid Form and shall include all items specified in Section 01710, MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION. Progress payments shall be based on the percentage of mobilization work completed at the time of invoicing, excluding the amount held in retainage until final completion of the Work. 2. Demobilization: Separate payment shall not be made for demobilization. All costs in connection with such Work will be considered to be included in the lump sum price quoted for mobilization.
