SECTION 02771 <br /> GEOTEXTILES <br /> PART 1 GENERAL <br /> 1.1 WORK INCLUDED <br /> A. This section covers the Work necessary to furnish and install nonwoven geotextiles <br /> for separation of the Granular Drainage Material and the Protective Operations Layer, <br /> to envelope the Coarse Gravel surrounding the leachate collection pipe and within the <br /> sumps, to provide a cushion between the granular drainage material and HDPE <br /> Geomembrane, and to protect the leading edge of the geomembrane. It is the <br /> responsibility of the GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR to procure and deliver the <br /> material to the site and to ensure that all submittals are adequate and approved. The <br /> EARTHWORK CONTRACTOR shall unload and store the geotextile if the <br /> GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR is not onsite and shall install the filter <br /> geotextile. The GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR shall install the cushion <br /> geotextile. <br /> B.
