Co11 <br />BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF FAN J6'AQUII�-, <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA c__ <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />' � L iJ <br />rn <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A_ FINAL5kEGI VE <br />DECLARATION AND MITIGATION MEASURES/MONITORING PLAN aR REASED <br />WASTE QUANTITIES AND RECYCLING AT FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL <br />WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act requires that <br />a project must be reviewed with respect to potential significant <br />effects on the environment prior to approval; and, <br />WHEREAS, an Initial Study, consultations with other agencies and <br />a public review period have been completed for the Increased Waste <br />Quantities and Recycling Project at the Foothill Sanitary Landfill; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, a Final Negative Declaration and Mitigation <br />Measures/Monitoring Plan have been prepared based upon the finding <br />that the proposed project will not have a significant effect on the <br />environment or wildlife; and, <br />WHEREAS, the public review period, completed February 27, 1995, <br />included the posting of a "Notice of Intent to Adopt a Negative <br />Declaration" on and off the project site, and comments received <br />within the comment period have been responded to in writing or <br />addressed in the Mitigation Measures/Monitoring Plan to be adopted; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, there is no evidence before the County that the <br />proposed project will have potential for adverse effect on wildlife <br />resources; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Final Negative <br />Declaration and Mitigation Measures/Monitoring Plan for Increased <br />Waste. Quantities and Recycling at the Foothill Sanitary Landfill be <br />and hereby are adopted. <br />0 1.1431?.03 <br />
