5 FACILITIES DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS <br />5.1. Design Standards <br />Designs prior to 1997 met Title 14 Regulations. Module 1 (designed in 2001-02) met <br />CCR Title 27 and Subtitle D regulations. Future Modules will meet the requirements applicable <br />at the time of design. <br />San Joaquin County is responsible for the design of the facility. The County submits <br />engineering designs and-plafs-for each module to the regulatory agencies for their review and <br />approval prior to construction. The design of each cell complies with CCR Title 27 and Subtitle <br />D construction and design standards. Karam. PE (RCE C33172). <br />• Module 1 was designed by Mr. Frederick W. Cope.
