Sathees <br />Contractor: R J Gordon Construction, Inc. <br />Weather: Partly cloudy Wind: 0-10 mph. <br />Tem erature: A2prox. range 50-75 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. <br />Excavation: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Up to (1) CAT D6 and (1) CAT D8 dozers with ripper attachments assisted up to (5) CAT 627 <br />scrapers load material from the excavation along north side of the cell. The soil (fine-grained brown silty sand) was hauled to <br />the South Stockpile for use as foundation layer material. The soil was hauled to the stockpiles on an approximate 5 -min cycle. <br />North West Stockpile: No activity was observed. <br />South Stockpile (Fdn. Stk.): 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. The fine-grained brown silty sand material was hauled from the excavation <br />to the South Stockpile for use as foundation layer material. (1) CAT 14H motorgrader was observed spreading and grading <br />the soil in the stockpile fill area and maintaining haul roads. (1) CAT 621 water pull was used to maintain fill areas, haul <br />roads, and excavation areas. One sample was tested and the fines content of the stockpiled material was 41 percent of the <br />portion finer that 3/8 -inch. One maximum density test was also conducted on a composite sample from the stockpile <br />Access Road Embankment Fill: No activity was observed. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D8T dozer, (1) CAT D6T dozer, (1) CAT 621 water pull, (5) 627 scrapers, (1) 14H motorgrader, <br />(1) CAT 825 compactor <br />Problems/Resolutions. <br />Visitors: <br />Reviewed By: M.
