Hu and <br />Weather: Clear Wind: 0-10 mph. <br />Temperature: Approx. range 70- 92 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm. <br />Excavation: (1) CAT D6 dozer and (1) CAT 627 scraper finish graded Basin 2. (1) CAT 621 water truck was used to maintain <br />excavations, haul roads and fill areas. <br />Slope Subgrade Preparation: Up to (6) laborers using hand tools continued to prepare the east slope and the cell floor. <br />Access Road: No activity. <br />Foundation Layer: (1) water -truck and 14 H motorgrader brushed over the foundation layer and (1) CAT 54B smooth drum <br />roller put finish surface on the floor <br />Sump /Lysimeter Construction: Great Basin placed FML in the lysimeter excavation. The seams have not yet been tested <br />Soil Gas Collection Pipe: Backfill of the pipe began after the gravel backfill and geotextile was overlapped per plan. A large <br />vibratory plate was used for compacting the backfill soil. The activity is not yet finished. <br />North West Stockpile: No activity was observed. <br />South Stockpile 2 (Operations): No activity was observed. <br />South Stockpile 3: No activity was observed. <br />Coarse Gravel: No activity was observed. <br />Geosynthetic Liner: Geosynthetics deployment continued on the north slope today. QA activities included monitoring of <br />placement, trial welds, seaming and collection of destructive seam samples. A cumulative quantity of approximately <br />113,000 SF of GCL and geomembrane have been deployed. The final loads of Geocomposite were delivered today. All liner <br />materials are now n site. s. <br />Relocate 12"Gas Main T&M: (1) Hitachi 300 excavator and (1) CAT 320 excavator were used interchangeably throughout <br />the day excavating the new LFG header pipe trench above the eastern slope in preparation for header modification and the <br />gas shut off Monday. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D8T dozer, (1) CAT D6T LGP dozer, (1) CAT D6R dozer (with slope board) (1) CAT 621G water <br />pull, (2) CAT 627 scrapers, (1) 14H motorgrader, (1) CAT 825H compactor, (1) water truck, (1) Hitachi 300 excavator, (1) <br />CAT CS 54B smooth drum roller (vibratory type), (1) CAT TH160B folk lift,, (1) CAT 430D backhoe.
