The Hitachi 300 was used to load
soil from the western end of Stockpile 2 into the Power Screen screening plant. Screened product was stockpiled in a cone
using a belt stacker to keep the screened soil separate from unprocessed soil. (1) 950 M Loader was used relocate +1" from
under the belt into separate stockpile. (1) Sample collected from today's stacker belt stockpile. Full gradation was performed
in field lab. Lab results indicated 100 % Passing 1" Screen. Screening operation ended at 2:30 pm.
Operations Layer Placement: (1) Hyundai 300 loaded (2) Cat 745 Dump Truck with Screened Operations Layer for
placement on cell floor. (1) D6 LGP Dozer was used to spread Operations layer 2 ft thick over deployed 8 oz/sy geotextile
along middle of cell working to the north and west Random samples of Operations layer were hand sieved in field with 1"
screen during placement. Observed 100% passing 1" screen. Operations layser placement discontinued at 3:30 pm.
At approximately 7:00 am (1) Cat 745 Dump Truck tipped over while discharging load. Installation resulted in horizontal seams on the slope. The horizontal seams were joined per the
specifications and information provided by the Engineer.
Leachate Collection Pipe: Contractor welded portions of Leachate Collection Pipe at the toe of eastern slope.
