It is owned and operated by the County of <br /> San Joaquin, and is staffed by Department of Public Works' Solid <br /> Waste Division employees. <br /> The site is open from 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily to refuse <br /> collection companies, including the Cities of Manteca and Ripon, <br /> and from 8:00 a.m. - 5: 00 p.m. daily to the general public. <br /> Following is a summary of the number and volume/weight of loads <br /> delivered to the transfer station and the special fees charged. <br /> For specific information about the summary, refer to appendices <br /> H - P. <br /> TOTAL TONS <br /> During 1988, the Lovelace Transfer Station (ITS) received 113,705 <br /> tons of waste. The various franchised and licensed collectors, <br /> and the Cities of Manteca and Ripon, collectively delivered 69,545 <br /> tons (61%) . The remainder, 44, 160 tons (39%) were delivered by the <br /> general public. Of the 44, 160 tons, 8, 187 tons were actually <br /> weighed. The remainder, 35,973 tons, were calculated by taking the <br /> cubic yard volume of the non-weighed waste, 140, 354 cy, and <br /> multiplying by the . 2563 conversion factor. <br /> 5 <br />
