Of the <br /> total loads, the refuse collectors and the Cities of Manteca and <br /> Ripon delivered 12, 682 loads (11%) . The remainder, 101, 692 loads <br /> (89%) , are attributable to the general public. <br /> GENERAL PUBLIC - NUMBER AND VOLUME OF MINIMUM FEE LOADS <br /> The general public accounted for 101, 692 loads delivered to the <br /> LTS during 1988. Of that total, 92,554 loads were minimum fee <br /> loads, and the remainder, 9, 138 loads, were either charged by the <br /> ton or the volume of the load in cubic yards. <br /> The volume of the minimum fee loads totaled 130, 319 cubic yards. <br /> Converted to tons using the .2563 conversion factor, that <br /> represents 33,400 tons. <br /> GENERAL PUBLIC - NUMBER AND VOLUME OF NON-MINIMUM FEE LOADS <br /> The number of general public non-minimum fee loads using the LTS <br /> in 1988 was 9,138. Of that total, 5,995 loads were weighed and <br /> represent 8, 187 tons. The remaining loads, 3 , 134, were measured <br /> and represent 10, 035 cubic yards, or 2, 572 tons using the .2563 <br /> conversion factor. <br /> NUMBER AND WEIGHT OF LOADS BY REFUSE COLLECTION COMPANIES/CITIES <br /> A total of 12, 682 loads, which equaled 69,545 tons, were delivered <br /> to the LTS by nine refuse collection companies and the Cities of <br /> Manteca and Ripon. The City of Manteca and Stockton Scavenger <br /> combined account for 7,241 loads (57%) of the total loads <br /> delivered, and for 39,503 tons (56%) of the total tons for this <br /> user group. <br /> 6 <br />
