FORWARD INCORPORATED LANDFILL <br /> This site, located on Austin Road about 1/2 mile south of the <br /> Austin Road Sanitary Landfill, is privately owned and operated by <br /> Forward Inc. As a condition of its Use Permit, the general public <br /> is not allowed to use the site. The site is currently open to <br /> commercial and industrial haulers in San Joaquin County. <br /> According to Forward Inc. , the landfill received 399,400 cubic <br /> yards, or 78, 300 tons using a conversion factor of . 196, of non <br /> petruscible solid waste during 1988. Of that total, 113 , 705 tons (89%) were <br /> delivered by transfer vehicles from the Lovelace Transfer Station. <br /> The remainder, 13,411 tons, were delivered by the general public <br /> and private refuse collection companies. However, the <br /> City of Tracy is responsible for operating the site. <br /> The site is open to the general public, and to the City's and <br /> County's franchised and licensed collectors.
