<br /> In July of 1990, the County assumed ownership and management of
<br /> thisClass III landfill located on Corral Hollow Road southwest of
<br /> the City of Tracy. Previously, the Corral Hollow Landfill was owned
<br /> jointly by the County of San Joaquin and the City of Tracy, and
<br /> operated by the City of Tracy.
<br /> The landfill is open to the general public, and to the City's and
<br /> County's franchised and licensed collectors, generally from the
<br /> south County area. During 1990, 317, 849 cubic yards of waste were
<br /> delivered to the site. Using the . 173 conversion factor, this
<br /> equals 54,988 tons of solid waste.
