AS400 • <br />Daily back-ups (all data for that day is backed up and put on tape daily) are done <br />each night at 10:00 p.m. This is set by Sandy Barnhardt and she is responsible for <br />logging back-ups and keeping tapes. The newest tape is kept at her home, the next day <br />she brings in the tape from home and takes the new tape home at night. She puts the tape <br />she brought in into the bottom drawer. Basically, she has two tapes in her possession and <br />three tapes are in the bottom drawer. <br />There is a Safety Deposit Box, #3626 at U.S.D.B., 337 E. Main, which houses all . <br />of the IBM basic programs tapes and all of the PC tapes. These are a duplicate set. There <br />are two keys, Noreen has a key with her and Sue Zette has a key. <br />Every six weeks Sandy does an all system back-up, this backs up all data, PAC <br />programs and the IBM Operating System. There are four tapes in the cycle. The newest <br />tape goes to the vault, the tape in the vault goes to Rosalie, Rosalie's tape goes to Sandy <br />and Sandy's tape goes to the bottom drawer. The tape in the bottom drawer is the next <br />tape to be used on the next all system back-up. <br />I] <br />16 03/04/99 <br />
