SAFETY EQUIPMENT <br />The necessary equipment required at the landfill will vary depending on the activities and <br />area at which the employee is working. Certain job activities require modifications to the <br />personnel protective equipment listed below. <br />The equipment provided by Forward Landfill Inc. at no cost to the employee is listed <br />below: <br />1. Eye protection <br />2. Coverall - chemical resisting type materials to minimize skin contact with materials <br />3. Hearing protection <br />4. Gloves <br />5. Hard hat <br />B. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION <br />Currently, respiratory protective devices- are tested and approved by <br />NIOSH/MSHA to guard against a wide range of inhalation hazards. While not all types <br />of respiratory protective devices are covered under the current NIOSH approval <br />requirements, it is desirable to select NIOSH/MSHA approved equipment whenever <br />possible. <br />C <br />C <br />
