WMU D-99 Construction September 1999 Forward Landfill Job No.986011.02 3.0 PROJECT CQA DOCUMENTATION Project documentation was prepared by Vector as part of the CQA duties and consisted of a system of daily record keeping including daily progress reports and a record of various test data sheets pertinent to the soils and geosynthetic components of the composite liner system. Copies of the original records are being maintained in Vectors archive files in Grass Valley, California and can be made available upon request. Copies of the daily construction field reports summarizing the Contractor's progress and associated CQA activities prepared by our Lead CQA Monitor are presented in Appendix B of this report. Copies of the weekly construction field reports are also presented in Appendix B. Approximately each week a progress meeting was held at the site. Items discussed at the progress meetings included work progress, schedule, problems, submittals, and health and safety issues. The minutes of the weekly progress meetings are included in Appendix C. Other CQA documentation with respect to test data and observation sheets are discussed within the following sections. Copies and summaries of various data for the soils and geosynthetics components monitored and physically tested by Vector are included in various appendices of this report. Documentation of the conformance tests for the geosynthetic components (Precision) is also presented. Surveys to verify the thickness, grade, and line were performed by Dewalt Surveying. As-built drawings showing the original topography, subgrade, top of clay liner, top of the leachate collection layer, and leachate pond layout are provided as Exhibits 1 — 5.
