Guinn utilized the excavator to remove a 62' <br /> section that contained several roots out of the western slope of the leachate impoundment. Guinn is utilizing <br /> 2-633 scrapers,D5 Cat dozer and the 140G grader to excavate and grade the pond area. The water truck <br /> continues to moisture condition the haul roads and all work areas. Guinn continued to place and compact <br /> general earthfill on the eastern slope termination berm. Guinn excavated the material placed over the <br /> southwestern Asit anchor trench plywood. Guinn pulled the plywood up and placedeotextile material <br /> der it as per the plans and replaced the vegetative cover material. <br /> Vector Engineering,Inc. Tested compaction on the eastern slope termination berm.Observed excavation of <br /> the leachate impoundment pond. Observed excavation of the vegetation layer to place geotextile under the <br /> plywood CQA, Scott Purdy of Vector,Butch from Allied,Tim Guinn and Duane from Guinn Construction <br /> had a meeting on site about the root problem in the eastern slope of the leachate pond.
