Allied <br /> utilized a smooth drum roller to compact the subgrade on the slopes that were accessible.Allied utilized a wager <br /> truck to maintain moisture in the subgrade material. <br /> Guinn—Not on site today. <br /> Tuesday May 11, 1999 <br /> Allied—Utilized 2 rock trucks loaded from the stockpile with a 325 excavator to haul subgrade material to the eastern <br /> slope of cell WMU-99 where a D4 and D8 spread and compacted the material on the steeper slopes. Allied <br /> utilized a water truck to maintain moisture conditioning of the subgrade material. <br /> —Tim Guinn and Duane Meadows were on site with their surveyors from Dewalt Surveying in Bakersfield. <br /> Dewalt set up some control points for complete coverage of the site. Dewalt started the topo of the WMU F <br /> North Leachate pond and 50' on each side of the liner tie in. It was found that Point#103 was off.5 in elevation. <br /> Wednesday May 12, 1999 <br /> Allied—Utilized 2 rock trucks loaded from the stockpile with a 325 excavator to haul subgrade material to the eastern <br /> slope of cell WMU-99 where the D8 spread and compacted the material on the steeper slopes. Allied utilized a <br /> water truck to maintain moisture conditioning of the subgrade material. <br /> Guinn—Started excavation of the liner tie in with a 320L excavator and 3 laborers hand shoveling soil off the plywood <br /> placed on the edge of the liner. Guinn hit and tore the liner a couple times while excavating. Dewalt completed <br /> the topo of the WMU F North Class H leachate pond. Dewalt reset point#103 to documented elevation. <br /> Thursday May 13, 1999 <br /> Allied—Utilized the D4 to trim the subgrade material on the eastern slope. Allied had the smooth drum roller compact <br /> the eastern slope by backing down the slope. <br /> Guinn—Guinn continues to expose the liner tie in on the south side of cell WMU-98. Guinn established a haul road off <br /> of the eastern end of cell WMU-99.
