NOTES(Describe work completed during the day,any problems and their solutions): Monday August 30, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continued to backfill the anchor trench around the leachate3 impoundment pond. Guinn started to place the 14" lift of earthfill in the leachate impoundment pond per revised plan. Guinn utilized the 623 to haul the material from the stockpile just north of the pond. Guinn had a laborer full time watching for wrinkles as the D4H dozer built the access ramp and spread the material onto the pond floor. GSE: GSE completed the boots on the lysometers and the 12" riser pipe and all repairs needed on the geomembrane in the leachate impoundment pond. GSE completed the repair needed on the eastern slope of cell WMU D-99. GSE completed vacuum testing of all the,repairs. GSE installed the wind vents. Tuesday August 31, 1999 Guinn: Guinn completed backfilling the anchor trench around the leachate impoundment pond. Guinn continued to place the 14" lift of earthfill in the leachate impoundment pond. Guinn had a laborer part time watching for wrinkles as the dozers spread the material onto the pond floor. Guinn graded the southern roadway and set the drainage ditch. Wednesday September 1, 1999 Guinn: Guinn completed backfilling the anchor trench around the leachate impoundment pond. Guinn continued to place the 14" lift of earthfill in the leachate impoundment pond. Guinn had a laborer full time watching for wrinkles as the dozers spread the cover material onto the pond floor. Guinn imported some questionable material but did not place the fill on the pond floor. Thursday September 2, 1999 Guinn: Guinn completed placement of the 14" earthfill material on the leachate impoundment pond floor. Guinn utilized the 623 to haul the material from the stockpile. Guinn cleaned out the southern channel at the toe of the Ashpit and at the western end of the roadway crossing. Guinn installed the 12" riser pipe cap. Guinn installed the force main pipe bracket just to the north of the pond. Guinn placed 3 fence posts with ropes tied in knots every 20" on all 3 sides of the leachate impoundment pond.
