2. Review of work progress since previous meeting: <br /> A. Excavation of the impoundment was completed including the over-excavation <br /> of the areas with roots. <br /> B. GSE began placing GCL and secondary HDPE in the impoundment. <br /> C. Guinn finished placement of geotextile and operations layer in the D-99 Cell. <br /> D. Compaction around the D-99 sump was completed. <br /> E. Operations material placement was completed on the ash pit. <br /> 3. Projected schedule: <br /> A. Guinn should begin placement of ballast soil in the impoundment at the end of <br /> next week. <br /> B. The sump will be completed at the end of this week. <br /> C. The surveying has been completed on the operations layer and the <br /> impoundment. The grades on the impoundment were acceptable. Ash pit, <br /> vegetative layer, berms, and benches will be surveyed the first of the week. <br /> D. Guinn should be completed by the first week of September. <br /> 4. Coordination of schedules: <br /> A. The lysimeters have been installed. Jeff with Guinn should be sending the <br /> cost for the two extra lysimeters. <br /> B. GSE should finish placing the secondary liner in the sump area by tomorrow <br /> or Thursday. <br /> C. Guinn would like an area left unlined along the south side so they can bring in <br /> rock and pipe to place the sump. Guinn needs one day to place the material <br /> and then GSE can line that slope. <br /> D. GSE should finish lining the pond by the end of next week. <br /> E. Net will be placed the beginning of next week. Guinn will place soil backfill in <br /> the anchor trench. <br /> F. Scott will check on an as-built for the GCL layer to see if Sangeeta will require <br /> one. <br /> 5. Field observations, problems, conflicts, and changes: <br /> A. The LCRS sump in the D-98 Cell has to be replaced. <br /> B. Soil will be placed around the vault boxes for the lysimeters. <br /> C. Guinn will place a 2-foot high berm around the pond above the anchor trench. <br /> D.
