No costs for drainage construction, other than for final closure items <br />are included in the closure cost estimate. <br />1.8.4 Landscaping and Erosion Control <br />This category covers the cost of landscaping construction which includes soil <br />preparation and planting of vegetative materials. <br />1.8.5 Gas Control System <br />This category includes the cost of extension of the wells through the cover and <br />lateral piping system modification during placement of the final cover system. <br />1.8.6 Site Security <br />This category includes costs for required signage at closure of Stage VI or any <br />lesser portion of the site. The site is currently enclosed with a perimeter fence and <br />gates or has topographic constraints to prevent unauthorized access to the site <br />property. <br />1.8.7 Demolition <br />This category generally includes costs for dismantling and removal of on-site <br />structures (i.e., fee booths and landfill scales). <br />1.8.8 Gas Migration MonitoringSystem <br />This category assumes that all gas migration monitoring probes will be placed <br />during active operations as required under 27 CCR, Sections 20921 through <br />20939. <br />1.8.9 Groundwater Monitoring System <br />No costs are associated with this category since additional groundwater monitoring <br />facilities are not proposed for the site at closure. <br />1.8.10 Engineering Design <br />This category includes costs for the preparation of construction level engineering <br />design plans and specifications for bid purposes. This cost is assumed to be 1.5 <br />percent of the construction cost. <br />1.8.11 Construction Management <br />The construction management cost for the FL is based on the closure construction <br />period.
