o Landfill Gas Control System Protection/Reinstallation 9 weeks • Erosion Control Installation 2 weeks • Demobilization 1 week As shown on Table 5 closure construction will occur over a 12 -week period assuming there are no delays due to weather and/or equipment/personnel downtime. 3.13.3 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT A construction management team will be on-site during the entire period of construction. The team will be under the direction of a construction manager, who will be responsible for supervision of construction of the various features included in the closure plan. The construction manager will coordinate the activities of the on-site contractor(s) and will provide liaison among the design engineers and the contractors. Other key staff may include a site engineer and construction inspector(s). A survey crew and a geotechnical CQA crew will be present, as required. Survey Control The survey control crew, under the direction of the contractor will be responsible for surveyed location of the closure plan improvements and for record drawing information. They will be responsible for establishing survey control to verify that the various components of the cover conform to grade and/or thickness requirements of the construction drawings and specifications. CQA For Final Cover Placement The construction specifications will include the CQA Plan for final cover placement. A geotechnical CQA crew, under the direction of a Geotechnical Engineer, will be on-site full-time during the placement of the final cover to monitor compliance with cover design and installation methods included in the CQA Plan. The CQA personnel will have day-to-day responsibility to oversee cover placement and to evaluate whether the cover is constructed according to specifications.
