If more <br /> material comes in than is required for the day, the material is stockpiled within <br /> the waste management unit and used, as needed. The compost material is <br /> spread evenly over the active face in a minimum compacted thickness of six <br /> inches and an average compacted thickness no greater than 12 inches using a <br /> dozer. <br /> Treated Auto Shredder Waste (TASW): TASW, that has been processed and <br /> treated in accordance with 22 CCR Section 66268.106(a)(1), is delivered directly <br /> to the working face and stockpiled to the side. If more material comes in than is <br /> required for the day, the material is stockpiled within the waste management unit <br /> and used, as needed. The TASW is evenly spread and compacted over the <br /> active face in a minimum 6-inch lift and average compacted thickness of less <br /> than 18-inches using a dozer. If major precipitation events are anticipated within <br /> several days, Forward will cease using TASW until the threat of precipitation is <br /> over in compliance with condition "r" of the SWFP. <br /> Construction and Demolition Wastes: C&D is delivered directly to the working <br /> face and stockpiled to the side. If more material comes in than is required for the <br /> day, the material is stockpiled within the waste management unit and used, as <br /> needed. Processed C&D waste materials will be ground, pulverized, shredded, <br /> screened, source separated, or otherwise processed alone or mixed with soil in a <br /> manner to provide a compacted material free of open voids when applied to <br /> meet the performance requirements as alternate daily cover. Processed C&D <br /> waste materials used as ADC shall be restricted to the following materials: rock, <br /> concrete, brick, sand, soil, ceramics, cured asphalt, lumber and wood, wood <br /> products, roofing material, plastic pipe, plant material when commingled from <br /> construction work, and fines derived from processing the above materials. These <br /> materials shall comply with a grain size specification by volume of 95 percent <br /> less than 12 inches and 50 percent less than 6 inches as determined by the LEA. <br /> The C&D wastes are evenly spread over the active face in a minimum 6-inch lift <br /> and average compacted lift thickness of less than 18-inches using a dozer.
