In addition, <br /> the scale house attendant verifies that each load of ACW has an internal <br /> approval number, indicating that the TSM/SWL has reviewed and approved <br /> the material. The scale house attendant also records the date of delivery and <br /> quantity of ACW. The scale house attendant retains Forward's copy of the <br /> Hazardous Waste Manifest and gives the driver a Load Check Form that the <br /> driver must give to the Load Checker at the designated ACW disposal area <br /> before unloading. The scale house attendant also provides the driver with <br /> directions to the working face and the nearby designated ACW disposal area. <br /> Finally, the scale house attendant signs Hazardous Waste Manifest, <br /> documenting that Forward has received and disposed of the waste. <br /> Training: The scale house attendant receives in-house training with periodic <br /> updates on reviewing and processing manifests, notifications, and <br /> certifications required for proper ACW management, disposal, and record <br /> keeping.
