2.6.1 EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE <br /> Besides daily maintenance (checking belts and fans, engines, hydraulic oil, fuel, <br /> blowing down dust, etc.), the landfill and RRF have a preventive maintenance <br /> program that is scheduled on all heavy equipment that is based on the number of <br /> hours the equipment has been in service (100 hours, 200 hours, 400 hours, etc.). <br /> A copy of the maintenance program is included in Appendix C. <br /> 2.6.2 STANDBY EQUIPMENT <br /> The RRF continually evaluates the need for additional equipment for landfill <br /> operations. For situations that require standby, specialized, or additional <br /> equipment. The RRF leases, rents and/or contracts the appropriate equipment <br /> from local contractors or suppliers located within an approximate 20-mile radius of <br /> the site.
