In the early morning, they began work on the
sump area and on the west floor. The skip loader ripped and graded the clay to expedite drying. After
grading, they used the smoothdrum to roll the west floor to the west toe of slope. The blade and scraper
graded and hauled material out of and around the sump. He also stated that they would be working
tomorrow.
The GSE foreman was on site and after visual recon on the west floor, began to deploy 60mil double
textured HDPE. Two(2)panels were deployed, seamed and air tested on the west central floor in the
morning. The GSE foreman stated that they would not deploy any more panels until the remainder of the
floor was complete. He also stated that they would be working tomorrow in anticipation of Monday's
predicted rain. After the two panels were deployed, the crew cleaned up trash and placed sand bags on the
exposed edges.
One(1)sample of granular drainage material was tested for gradation, passed specification and the Sukut
foreman was verbally informed of the test results. Destructive samples of the double textured 60 mil were
also tested and all passed the required.
Adak
repared By: Reviewed By:
4/23/03,Rev. 0 1 of 1
