On site testing included two(2)
Atterberg limits tests and two (2) sieve analysis tests. The sieves were performed on the washed and dried
coarse rock and on the minus 3/8"granular drainage material. The granular drainage material (GDM)was
out of specification on the coarse side with material retained on the '/x"screen. The test performed at the
Vector laboratory also produced failing results. The on site foreman for Sukut was verbally informed of the
test results, as was the design engineer, Sangeeta Lewis. She stated, by phone, that the material is
unacceptable and another source had to be found.
Sukut continued construction of the FU-03 refuse cell cutting the southwest and southeast comers and floor
with the two dozers and the scraper. Cut material was placed onto the stockpile. The blade finish graded the
floor with the laser attachment.
Jay,
4// ' ,Rev,@ 1 0f 1
C10
