The same number of staff are utilized to remove the tarp. A dozer
is used to hold the tarp in place and two laborers then re-roll the tarp.
The tarp will be removed within 24 hours and the exposed waste will either be
covered with new waste or with approved cover materials.
Securing the Synthetic Tarp. The tarp will be secured with either soil, sandbags,
tires or other heavy items, which have no sharp edges. Depending on site
conditions tires, sandbags, or other similar items will be placed in a grid pattern
over each panel and aloes the overlap between panels to prevent movement or
uplifting. Soil will be used for any areas beyond the limits of the tarp.
Remova/ofthe S nthetic Tarp. At the start of each operating day, the cover will
be inspected for signs of damage that might have occurred during the night. Any
damage or excessive wear will be reported to the Site Manager and appropriate
repairs made in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and
procedures. Tires, sandbags, ander other items used to secure the material will
be removed and stored nearby for later use at the end of the day. If soil is used
to secure the edges, it will be carefully removed to prevent damage to the cover.
Laborers will be instructed to take care when removing, the fabric so as not to
remove any waste material with the tarp.
If the synthetic tarp ADC shows extreme wear or is damaged beyond repair, it
will be disposed of, and a new stock of material used.
