To this end,the <br /> following meetings may be scheduled: <br /> 4.1 PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING <br /> A Pre-Construction Meeting will be held at the site. At a minimum, the meeting shall be <br /> attended by Allied Waste(or designated representative), the Construction Manager, the Engineer, <br /> the Geotechnical CQA Consultant, the Contractor and the CQA staff. <br /> Specific items to be considered at this meeting will include: <br /> • Any appropriate modifications to the CQA requirements. <br /> • Review of the responsibilities of each party. <br /> • Review of the lines of authority and communication. <br /> • Review of work area security and safety protocol. <br /> • Review of the procedures for project documentation and reporting, and distribution of <br /> documents and reports. <br /> • Review of Contractor's proposed methods of construction(including equipment), with <br /> specific emphasis on methods of select grading, trucking, stockpiling,processing, moisture <br /> conditioning and compaction. <br /> • Review of the procedures for field and laboratory CQA testing. <br /> • Establishment of procedures for correcting and documenting construction deficiencies. <br /> • Conducting a site inspection to discuss work areas, excavations, stockpile areas, mixing <br /> tables,processing areas, lay-down areas, access roads,haul roads, and related items. <br /> • Review of the project schedule. <br /> The meeting shall be documented by the Construction Manager and minutes shall be distributed <br /> to all parties. <br /> 4.2 WEEKLY PROGRESS MEETINGS <br /> Progress Meetings should be held weekly. At a minimum, these meetings should be attended by <br /> Allied Waste(or designated representative), the Construction Manager, the CQA Officer and/or <br /> the CQA Monitor(s), and the Contractor.
