2. The drawings used to develop the "October 6, 2000" estimate were not available
for review.
3. Bullseye was preparing their estimates of remaining airspace correctly, and all of
their work was available for review.
Given the (a) inherent inaccuracy in Item 1, (b) the lack of verification in Item 2, and (c)
the confirmed accuracy and verification in Item 3, Forward Landfill personnel have
concluded that the Bullseye estimates are more appropriate for use than the original JTD
estimates. Consequently, the Bullseye estimates are the basis for the new (changed)
airspace and site life estimates presented in the most recent JTD amendment.
Please note that there was never a second, or independent, "June 15, 2002" (i.e., JTD)
estimate. Therefore, one cannot say definitively that the JTD estimate was correct, or
incorrect. One can say only that the Bullseye estimates appear to be more accurate and
appropriate for use.
Please contact me at (408) 945-2851 if you have any questions or comments regarding
this matter.
Vey truly yours,
Curtis G.
