Guinn
Construction used five of the 627 scrapers to haul clay to the west slope fill area and two of the 627 scrapers
to haul black topsoil to the east pit in the morning. In the afternoon, all the scrapers were hauling clay. The
dozer, one water truck and the sheepsfoot roller also worked in that same location. The other water truck
®moisture conditioned the cut area behind the tractor with discs and the other dozer.
Laboratory equipment arrived on site and oven dry samples were collected and placed in the oven for
overnight drying. One bulk composite bucket sample was obtained for a proctor curve. Four (4) nuclear
moisture density tests were performed at random locations and elevations on the west slope fill. All tests
passed the requirements for density and moisture content and the on site foreman was verbally informed of
the test results.
M
4/23/03, Rev. 0 1 of 1
C-2
Reviewed By: RC
