Guinn
Construction used all of the 627 scrapers to haul clay to the west slope fill area throughout the day. The
dozer, one water truck and the sheepsfoot roller also worked in that same location. The other water trucks
moisture conditioned the haul roads and the cut area behind the tractor with discs. The other dozer ripped
Offie cut area.
Laboratory testing began with a proctor curve pounded in the morning. Oven dry moisture samples taken
yesterday yielded an average water content of 18.3 %.
The surveyor arrived on site and stated that he could not resurvey the FU -05 cell floor because it was too
"lumpy". I relayed this to the contractor and tried to get the 623 scraper to wheel roll the rough areas. After
discussions with landfill personnel and the contractor, it was decided that the surveyor should just do his job
and quit crying about it. After he surveyed the cell floor, he relayed the information to Vector's Grass
Valley office and stated that it was good to go.
By:
4/23/03, Rev, 0 1 of i
C-2
Reviewed By: We,
