Guinn
Construction continued using the scrapers to haul clay from the northern and central cut areas throughout
the day. The area of the northern cut area is still closed to the scrapers because of the very high sand
content. This area will remain closed until it is either removed or ripped. Five (5) scrapers continued placing
fill material from west to east along the eastern area. One dozer, with GPS, one of the water trucks and the
sheepsfoot roller also worked on the north slope fill area. The other water truck moisture conditioned the
haul roads and the cut area behind the other dozer. The other two scrapers continued hauling subgrade
material to the piggyback slope of the FU -05 cell.
A total of twenty-two (22) nuclear moisture density tests were perfonned on the material placed on the
north slope fill area and on the piggyback slope. All tests passed the specified values in density and
moisture content and the on site foreman was verbally informed of the test results.
Prepared By: Rc ic\ked 13y: C
i
4123 03.
