Ms. Christina Carbajal
July 19,2006
Page 4
Also, on June 6, 19,and 29, 2006,SCS continued monitoring/adjustment to,recently installed by
others, LFG Extraction Well Nos. FOFU-0304-Well, FOFU-04-06 through FOFU-04-1.2,FOFU-
HCO1,FOFU-04-LCR, FOFU-05.06 and FOFU-05HC1 in attempts to maintain the observed
methane gas concentrations detected at GP-11 and GP-12 to below the LEL as directed by the
client. SCS will continue to adjust wells as directed by Allied.personnel.
Finally, during this reporting period, temperatures at LFG extraction wells were monitored and
observed to range from 78 to 114 degrees Fahrenheit(see Table 2). These temperatures are
considered to be in the normal to upper range for anaerobic decomposition. SCS will continue to
test LFG temperatures at each extraction well on a monthly basis in order to develop a database.
This additional information should provide a better understanding of subsurface conditions at the
site.
]LFG Collection System
Visual observation of the LFG collection system is conducted twice per month, During these
visits.,observations are made to ensure no pipe brrAkages have occurred and condensate drain,
sumps remain functional. Minor repairs are completed as required.
On June 6, 14, 19 and 29,2006, SCS performed monitoring of all accessible LFG Condensate
Sumps Nos.ARTP-1 through 7 and FOTP-8 through 19 for proper operation.
In addition, on June 6, 2006 and as previously reported, SCS obsen ed an,elevated oxygen gas
concentration in the below grade main pipeline between LFG Condensate Sump Nos. FOCS-10
and FOCS-11, indicating a possible separation..As of the date of this report, SCS performed the
necessary repairs restoring proper operation.
In.addition, during pervious reporting periods, SCS observed and repaired several slight air supply
and/or liquid leaks at several LFG condensate sumps. As requested by the Client,SCS has
prepared a proposal dated august 5,2004, and recommends that the existing air and
condensate connections be modified to decrease the potential for future separations/air leafs,
Finally, SCS routinely conducts a pressure drop survey(i.e.,measurement of main pipeline
pressure at various points throughout the LFG collection system). The results of this survey
indicated that no major restrictions within the LFG collection.,system currently exist and all
accessible extraction wells are receiving adequate vacuum.
LFG SlowerlF'lare Station{BF'S)
Visual observations and testing of the LFG BFS was conducted on June 6, 14, 19 and 29, 2006.
During these visits, operating parameters are monitored and mechanical and electrical components
