WMU FU-06 November 2006
Forward Landfill Project No.021605.07
® Hydraulic Conductivity: Seventeen (17) in situ soil samples were collected during
placement and compaction of the clay liner and tested for permeability in Vector's
Grass Valley laboratory. Falling head, rising tail water tests were performed in the
laboratory according to the procedures outlined in ASTM D-5084. The permeability
of the samples met the specified value of 3.1 x10-8 cm/s or lower. Results of the
laboratory permeability tests of the clay liner are presented in Appendix D. Table 4
presents a summary of the clay liner permeability tests.
Vector Engineering, Inc. • 143E Spring Hill Drive•Grass Valley,CA 95945•(530)272-2448
-15-
