Documentation of the soil berm placement is <br /> included in Appendix C. <br /> 4.7 As-Built Surveys <br /> Surveys to verify the elevations and grades of the earthworks were conducted by <br /> RJA & Associates Surveying, under the direction of Mr. Buck Buxton, a professional <br /> land surveyor registered in the State of California. The earthwork components <br /> surveyed include the following: <br /> • Top of prepared subgrade; <br /> • Top of clay liner; and <br /> • Top of operations layer <br /> Vector's CQA monitor physically observed the LCRS gravel thickness at a grid <br /> spacing less than 50 ft on center. Once the CQA Monitor approved the thickness of <br /> the gravel layer, the filter geotextile was placed on top of the drainage gravel in <br /> preparation for the overlying operations layer material. <br /> As-built surveys for the prepared subgrade, clay liner, and protective operations <br /> layer and CQA Monitor records for the LCRS gravel are presented in Appendix N. <br /> As-built surveys have been performed for the entire prepared subgrade, clay liner <br /> and operations layer on the floor of the Central Portion of WMU FU-06. <br /> Vector Engineering, Inc. - 143E Spring Hill Drive-Grass Valley,CA 95945-(530)272-2448 <br /> -20- <br />
