• One-foot thick protective operations layer <br /> The south 2:1 side slope liner system consists of,from bottom to top: <br /> • Prepared subgrade; <br /> • Needlepunched reinforced geosynthetic clay liner(GCL); <br /> • 60-mil, single-sided textured HDPE geomembrane(textured side placed against GCL); <br /> • One-foot thick protective operations layer to be placed concurrently with waste placement <br /> (maximum height of operations layer at any given time is 10 ft above refuse level) <br /> The north side slope and the interface liner system consists of,from bottom to top: <br /> • Prepared subgrade (for excavated slopes) or approximately 4-ft thick foundation layer (for <br /> interface liner); <br /> • Needlepunched reinforced geosynthetic clay liner(GCL); <br /> • 60-mil, single-sided textured HDPE geomembrane(textured side placed against GCL); <br /> • Geocomposite drainage net(GDN); <br /> • One-foot thick protective operations layer to be placed concurrently with waste placement <br /> (maximum height of operations layer at any given time is 10 ft above refuse level) <br /> The northern portion of the WMU FU-06 liner and LCRS consists of,from bottom to top: <br /> • Existing minimum 2-foot thick foundation layer compacted to a minimum 90 percent relative <br /> compaction(based on ASTM D1557); <br /> • Existing minimum 1-foot thick compacted clay liner with a maximum field hydraulic <br /> conductivity of 1 x 10-6 cm/sec; <br /> • Existing minimum 1-foot thick vegetative layer.
