Anchor the SS textured HDPE onto <br />the bottom box with the textured side <br />up and spray with water. <br />. Placed the hydrated GCL (24 hrs) <br />on top of the textured HDPE. <br />3. Compact the subgrade material to <br />90% of max. dry density at opt. +.2% <br />water content onto the upper box and <br />laced it on top of the GCL. <br />4. Apply the full normal load. <br />5. Flood the whole system with water <br />and allow to hydrate and consolidate <br />(or approx. I8-20 hrs. before shearing. <br />6. Shear at 0.04 inches /minute. <br />T.
