C <br />SECTION 02535 <br />LEACHATE PIPES <br />FZVIMCUTRO•. <br />1.1 WORK INCLUDED <br />A. This section covers the work necessary to furnish and install, complete, the high <br />density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and fittings specified herein. <br />1.2 REFERENCES <br />A. The following documents are a part of this section. Where this Specification <br />section differs from these documents, the requirements of this section shall apply. <br />1. ASTM D1248-84, Polyethylene Plastics Molding and Extrusion Materials. <br />2. ASTM D3350-84, Polyethylene Plastics Pipe and Fittings Materials. <br />3. ASTM F714-85, Polyethylene (PE) Plastic Pipe (SDR -PR) Based On <br />Outside Diameter. <br />1.3 GENERAL <br />A. All piping system components shall be the products of one manufacturer. <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS <br />A. General: The EARTHWORK CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all submittals are <br />complete and approved in accordance with the requirements and procedures in <br />this Section. Submittals must include the reference numbers shown in this <br />Section. <br />B. Submittals required to be included with the Bid. <br />1. Qualifications (PIPElA): A statement, in writing, from the pipe <br />manufacturer that the installing contractor is qualified to install the pipe as <br />described in this section. <br />C. Submittals required to be submitted after contract award and prior to construction. <br />1. Material Data (PIPE2A): Catalog information confirming that the pipe <br />material conforms to the requirements specified in this section. <br />D. Submittals required to be submitted for project closeout. <br />1. Material Warranty (PIPE3A): Submit a Material Warranty signed by the <br />Pipe Manufacturer. The Warranty shall certify that the material meets the <br />specified properties listed in this Section. <br />2.1 PIPE <br />A.
