11 <br />C <br />G. Submit a continuous length of each type of geomembrane measuring 50 feet by the <br />roll width taken from certified and approved geomembrane rolls delivered to the <br />Project site. The geomembrane samples submitted shall be labeled with the product <br />identification, lot number, and roll number. <br />1.5 QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. Master Welder Qualifications: Must have completed a minimum of 5,000,000 square <br />feet of polyethylene geomembrane seaming work using the type of seaming apparatus <br />proposed for use on this project. <br />B. Other Seamers Qualifications: All seamers must have seamed a minimum of <br />1,000,000 square feet of HDPE geomembrane. <br />1.6 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. The OWNER will engage and pay for the services of a QA/QC CONSULTANT for <br />monitoring the quality and installation of geomembrane material being installed <br />unless otherwise specified. <br />1.7 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. General: Conform to the manufacturer's requirements. <br />B. Delivery. <br />1. Deliver materials to the site only after the QA/QC CONSULTANT accepts <br />required submittals. <br />2. Separate damaged rolls from undamaged rolls and store at locations <br />designated by the OWNER until proper disposition of material is determined <br />by OWNER. <br />3. QA/QC CONSULTANT will determine damage. <br />4. Deliver in rolls, do not fold. <br />C. Storage on Site: <br />1. Store geomembrane rolls in the space allocated by the OWNER. <br />2. Store geomembrane rolls to protect from puncture, dirt, grease, water, <br />moisture, mud, mechanical abrasions, excessive heat or other damage. <br />3. Store geomembrane rolls on prepared surface (not on wooden pallets). <br />4. Stack geomembrane rolls no more than three rolls high. <br />D. Handling on Site: <br />1. Use appropriate handling equipment to load, move, and deploy geomembrane <br />rolls. Appropriate handling equipment includes cloth chokers and spreader <br />bars for loading, and spreader and roll bars for deployment. Dragging panels <br />on ground surface will not be permitted. <br />2.
