f
1 groundwater at an average flow rate of 152 gallons per minute, or 218,384 gallons per
day. During the monitoring period, the GTF removed approximately 1.54 pounds of
lVOCs. During the January 10, 2009 inspection, CH2MHILL noted that the flow rate for
well EW-I had significantly decreased, and as a result, the extraction well was taken
offline on January 30, 2009 pending well development and pump rehabilitation or
replacement. Forward is currently in the process of making the necessary repairs to
extraction well EW-1.
1 Influent and Effluent Monitoring—During the monitoring period, effluent samples were
collected monthly from the GTF and submitted for analysis of VOCs by EPA Method
8260B. In addition, the February 28, 2009 effluent sample was also analyzed for TDS.
Table 1, summarizes the field and analytical results for the GTF during the first quarter
2009 monitoring period. As shown on Table 1, no VOCs were detected in effluent
samples during the monitoring period.
GLA hopes that the information provided herein is sufficient for your records.
