PAGE 03 <br />ILM111 <br />1JJ &MA11 01 W A W W111:2 TTT-T <br />1.0 MA'T'ERIALS <br /># <br />1.1 The pipe and fittings shall be made using Extra High Molecular Weight (HM%4W) high-density polyethylene with a <br />standard thermoplastic material designation code of PE3408*and having a cell classification of 345464C per ASTM <br />D3350. <br />1.2 Materials used to umufacture pipe and fittings shall be listed under the Manufacturer's rmum in the Plastics Pipe <br />Institute (PPI) TR -4, "PPI Listing of Hydrostatic Design Basis (HDB), Strength Design Basis (SUB), Pressure <br />Design Basis (PDB) and Minimum Required Strength (MRS) Jt4np for Thermoplastic Piping Materials or Pipe." <br />The Manufacturer shall supply a product with a standard grade HUB rating of 1600 psi (minimum) at 73'F and 800 <br />psi (minimum) for 1400F.
