Construction Activities <br />1. Guinn Construction continued fill placement for the lower slope below the bench and 5:1 slope. <br />Scrapers spread the Subgrade Fill soils in 8" loose lifts for moisture conditioning and compaction by <br />the 815 and scraper traffic. <br />2. Guinn Construction continued placement of Subgrade Fill soils on the west and central floor areas of <br />FU -10. Four scrapers continue placing 8" loose lifts; moisture by water truck and compaction by 815. <br />About 5,000cy was placed on the floor and lower slope today; about 12,500cy to date. <br />3. Guinn Construction continued exposing the tie-in along the south end of FU -08 (filter geotextile, <br />plywood and LCRS drain gravel), using the 321C excavator and a spotter while working around the <br />leachate collection tanks. <br />4. Forward personnel pump a small amount of leachate onto the upper side -slope of FU -08 from each of <br />the 3 leachate collection tanks on the east side of WMU FU -08. <br />Q. Activities <br />CQA performed •d •isture-density tests in compacted Subgrade Fill placed in the <br />central r west -central floor areas of 1 1 through SF -23 indicated passing <br />moisture.with the exception of test SF -2 1; which indicated failing results due to low density from excess <br />2. CQA performed -200 wash on Subgrade Fill Sample SFS -I, and moisture conditioned samples for <br />ASTM T 155 7A 4 -point Proctor m• •.relationships. <br />3. ♦A collected Subgrade Fill Sample SFS -2 for• • and Atterberg <br />III.
