April 8, 2014 <br />e. A Knox Box security key box shall be provided. Applications are <br />available at the fire district offices. <br />Existing fire protection facilities will be maintained to the satisfaction of the <br />Lathrop - Manteca Fire Protection District. <br />Current Status: The Manteca -Lathrop Fire Department routinely inspects the <br />Forward Landfill, including access roads, for compliance with fire safety <br />standards. Ameresco obtained necessary permits from the fire department for <br />construction of the LFGTE Facility. No new building structures are currently <br />planned to be constructed. Knox Box security key boxes are provided onsite. <br />g. 79(1.2) <br />Proposed as Part of the Project: <br />At the proposed consolidated landfill, the project sponsor will continue to <br />provide fire suppression equipment and procedures that are equivalent in <br />effectiveness to those currently employed at the existing Forward Landfill, <br />as described in the Site Health and Safety Program. The project sponsor <br />will furnish information regarding proposed disposal operations and fire <br />suppression measures at the Austin Road Landfill, and the proposed <br />consolidated landfill, to the Lathrop -Manteca Fire District. <br />Existing fire protection facilities will be maintained (see also Mitigation <br />Measure 9 (E.1)). <br />Current Status: Forward continues to provide the same fire suppression <br />equipment and procedures as has historically been used at the former <br />Forward Landfill and as described in the Site Health and Safety Program. <br />Forward provides information regarding disposal operations and fire <br />suppression measures to the Manteca -Lathrop Fire Department. Existing <br />fire protection facilities have been maintained. <br />h. 80(l.3) <br />Proposed as Part of the Project: <br />The project sponsor will continue to apply, to the entire consolidated <br />landfill, the safety procedures currently employed at the existing Forward <br />Landfill and described irrthe Workplace Injury and Illness Prevention Plan. <br />The project sponsor -will furnish information regarding proposed disposal <br />operations -and safety procedures -at the Austin Road Landfill; and the <br />proposed consolidated landfill, to the Lathrop -Manteca Fire District. <br />Page 40 <br />
