(Forward),Cornerstone Environmental Group,a Tetra Tech • <br /> Company (Cornerstone)is pleased to submit the Fourth Quarter 2017 Corrective Action <br /> Program Update for the landfill gas (LFG)collection and control system (GCCS)at the <br /> Forward Landfill (Landfill)to the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB). This <br /> letter has been prepared in accordance with the Cleanup and Abatement Order R5-2017- <br /> 0703 (Order). <br /> Order Compliance <br /> The following is a summary of the fourth quarter 2017 activities performed as they pertain <br /> to the performance and improvements of the GCCS: <br /> • Cornerstone submitted the "Point of Compliance Monitoring Network <br /> Installation Report" (Installation Report) to the RWQCB on November 29,2017. <br /> • The six installed perimeter gas monitoring probes (GP-1A through GP-6A)were <br /> added to the perimeter probe monitoring network and sampled on October 25 <br /> and December 29, 2017. <br /> • Per the Order,based on the fourth quarter monitoring results,probe intervals <br /> GP-10D and GP-10M require annual TO-15 sampling due to an exceedance of <br /> methane concentration of 1 percent. TO-15 sampling for these probes were <br /> collected on January 9,2017. Results of the TO-15 sampling will be included in <br /> the First Quarter 2018 Corrective Action Report Update. • <br />
