We feel LhL test borings in the Kleinfuldur report satisfy <br />our earlier request for a trench. The suggested investigative trench will not <br />be required. <br />Our field inspection and review of the Kleinfelder report indicates the pro- <br />posed site on Harney Lane is satisfactory for a Class 11-2 landfill provided <br />the landfill is operated according to the State Water Resources Control Board's <br />"Waste Discharge Requirements for Waste Disposal to Land". In essence, it will <br />require a "dry" operation. <br />We request that when you construcK a water well at the site that you have a <br />qualified geologist log the well. Please submit the log to us as a part of <br />the Report of Waste Discharge. <br />Section 2552 of the California Administrative Code also requires that the <br />Report of Waste Discharge be accompanied by a certification -that all local <br />agencies with jurisdiction have approved the site. <br />Please contact Sterling Davis if you have any questions on this matter. <br />Sincerely, <br />WILLIAM S.
