Nominal volume of compactor body in <br />cubic yaras--has been multiplied by 1.4 to yield loose cubic yaras. <br />Population Forecast of Harney Lane Landfill Service Area <br />The service area of the Harney Lane Landfill was determined in <br />the 1979 SWMP to be essentially the north half of the <br />County. This includes the following planning areas designated <br />by the County Planning Department: Thornton, Lodi, Lockeford, <br />Linden, and Stockton. The County Planning Department has <br />population forecasts available for year 2000 for each of these <br />areas. The California State Department of Finance (DOF) has <br />an interim 1990 population forecast for San Joaquin County as <br />a whole, but not broken down by planning areas. According to <br />the County Planning Department, the DOF 1990 forecast is <br />"official" and should be used, even though it is higher than <br />the County's year 2000 forecast.
