<br />Waste Quantity Growth Assumption
<br />The method used in forecasting waste quantities is essentially
<br />the same as in the 1979 SWMP. A to average annual increase in
<br />unit quantities of discards --or Curve B in Figure 4-2 of the
<br />1979 SWMP--is used. However, unit quantities are not computed
<br />directly. Instead, actual waste quantities are assumed to
<br />grow to faster than population.

<br />The result of waste quantity forecast is shown in Table 3.
