The State Department of <br /> Fish and Game is the designated State Agency Coordinator for off- <br /> highway hazardous materials incidents. <br /> 14. 1.3 mergency Bespuse Procedures <br /> In the event of a hazardous material incident in the City of Stockton, <br /> the County OES will be notified in accordance with the City' s emergen- <br /> cy procedures and not necessarily by the first public official arriv- <br /> ing at the scene. The appropriate response personnel will be dis- <br /> patched depending on the level of emergency at the site. The Scene <br /> Manager will begin coordination of response efforts as soon as he/she <br /> arrives. Even after state and federal coordination and on-site <br /> management teams arrive, the scene manager retains control over the <br /> emergency. <br /> 14. 1.4 Pro tion 55 Notification <br /> Emergency response agencies will notify the appropriate state and <br /> local agencies when they become aware of a Proposition 65 release. <br /> (Proposition 65 is discussed in more detail in Chapter 16. ) <br /> 14. 1.5 San Joagmuin County Emergency Response Van <br /> The Office of Emergency Services (OES) has purchased a van to respond <br /> to hazardous materials emergencies. The van is equipped with Hasmat <br /> response equipment and supplies.
